RULES

To take part in our event, all contestants whether playing solo or as a crew must ensure they have obtained their own Map, signed our waiver and agreed to the terms and conditions. This is essential to partake in a treasure hunt, and will also be your ticket to claim your fair share of the treasure if you are lucky enough to find it.

1. Obtaining the Map: Upon completing the registration process, participants will receive a confirmation email containing a download link for their treasure map. The map will only be made viewable on the designated event day.
2. Map Package: Come launch day, participants will be given their map package that will include a set of riddles, a visual map, and other additional tools and extras.
3. Start Time: Once the official start time comes to pass, the hunt will begin and will not cease until the treasure has been found. There is no time limit.
4. Adventure Outside: This event will require you to go outside and adventure in your city. It will not be possible to solve the treasure hunt without going outside and visiting various locations.
5. Finding the Treasure: The final clue you will be searching for is a coin that has fallen out of the chest. This coin will have the final instructions that will lead you directly to the secured location of the treasure chest holding thousands in pure gold and silver.
6. Prizes Await: The ultimate reward awaits the winner: a remarkable prize of pure gold and silver worth thousands of dollars. Smaller prizes will be offered via side quests.
7. Respectful Adventure: Participants are expected to explore responsibly. No private property needs to be illegally accessed during the quest.

1. You will NEVER have to put yourself in harm's way in pursuit of the treasure.
2. You will NEVER need to forcefully break any piece of property in your search.
3. You will NEVER need to trespass on private property.
4. Defacing property or vandalism is strictly prohibited and will result in INSTANT disqualification.
5. You must still act like a civilian and follow ALL laws and regulations of your communities.
6. Complaints from sponsors or the general public are grounds for INSTANT disqualification.
7. Evidence of working in online groups outside of official teams will disqualify you.
8. Reckless driving is prohibited by law and our rules. Reports are grounds for INSTANT disqualification.
9. Plan your hunt accordingly — some areas have specific hours of operation.
10. Sharing the map online directly violates the terms and conditions and is grounds for legal prosecution.

With every treasure hunt, you'll receive a map along with a boundary circle marking the play area, such as the example below. Every riddle, clue, and the chest itself is contained within that circle. If you find yourself outside it, you've sailed too far.

1. There may be two different methods for acquiring bonus clues: purchased via our website or acquired freely by visiting a designated sponsored location.
2. You do not NEED any bonus clues to complete the hunt — they help but are not necessary.
3. Bonus clues will only be available for a limited amount of time.

All participants are eligible for a refund right up until the launch of the event. Once the hunt has begun, we will no longer be issuing any refunds. This is a digital product — once you have received your map and read the clues, you have essentially consumed our product. Optional add-ons such as bonus clues and premium upgrades are delivered immediately and are non-refundable once purchased.
